Which Duck update does this guide cover?
The Broodwing duck update is documented in a player session explicitly dated October 24, 2026, when Congo identifies the Mallard as the newest animal added. The player calls it a dabbler and explores its family gameplay as a young bird. That dated account is useful for understanding the Mallard's introduction without mistaking it for the game's latest patch today.
The official material collected November 1 includes newer announcements and a BarnOwl experience label. Keep the October session's roster and observations tied to that earlier version.
What the player reports about Mallards
In the October 24 narration, Mallard is described as a dabbler, alongside Bald Eagle as a predator, Greylag Goose as a grazer, and Raven as a scavenger. The player later identifies cattails as food for the Mallard.
The session also shows how family play is described in the narration: the player requests to become another bird's next egg, waits to hatch, and pecks out of the shell. The family encounters Eagles, so being part of a group is not portrayed as protection from every predator.
These are community player-experience details. They do not establish a fixed growth timer or a guarantee that another family will accept a request in your session.
Duck appearance passes and newer versions
The official November 1 pass snapshot lists Leucistic Duck and Melanistic Duck separately, each marked for sale at 250 Robux. Check their current names and prices in the official Broodwing Roblox store before purchasing.
Those listings support the availability of the named appearance offers at the time of collection. They do not turn an appearance purchase into a documented speed, damage, or growth upgrade.
The developer community's captured 10K Members announcement already describes Golden Eagles and Canada Geese as added birds. That is why the October player's description of Mallard as the newest animal should remain a historical observation, not a current roster claim.
